LESSONS LEARNED
What Worked Well:
• We had a strong volunteer turnout
• We were able to feed people in need who did not have access to come to the event.
•Canvassing the area helped bring in guests from the area who haven’t heard of us.
Areas for Improvement:
• More promotion for donations
• Generating more foot traffic on event day
• Entertainment was needed
Feedback from the Community:
We were recommended to have less variety in the food offerings for ease of service. Also recommended to pre-package the meals for quicker distribution when on foot and wrapping up events.
